Birding Tour Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT! Please read carefully. If you book a bird tour, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Tour prices are approximate and are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel costs, accommodation, entrance fees, etc. Tour rates are confirmed at time of payment. Please bear this in mind when considering tours a long time out.
  • A 50% deposit is required on all SE Arizona tours, 30 days before the tour begins. The deposit confirms your booking.
  • Overseas tours, eg: Belize, require full payment 60 days in advance.
  • All prices are in US Dollars and per person.
  • Single supplements may apply – please ask. We will try to pair you with a suitable person if possible.
  • Payments accepted in US Dollars only, by cash, check or money order. PayPal, wire transfers and online credit card payments can also be arranged – some fees may apply.
  • Cancellations: We will do everything we can to return deposits or full payments in the unfortunate event you have to cancel, but only if we able to sell the tour again or otherwise remedy the situation financially. Payments for overseas tours can not be returned in any circumstances if you cancel less than 21 days before the tour. Please give as much notice as possible of cancellations.
  • Tour rates include all of your meals, some snacks, accommodation, transport and entrance fees as well as a full time tour leader/host. Bar drinks, additional snacks, gifts and other additional items are not included in the price of your tour.
  • Arizona (and other countries we visit) can have many hazards! We take the necessary precautions with our vehicles and do our best to advise and keep you safe. But you must appreciate that, whilst always safe in my experience, Arizona does have smugglers, snakes, flash floods, extreme heat, remote, rugged countryside and various other potential dangers far from the control of a humble bird guide. You are ultimately responsible for your own wellbeing and are expected to prepare, dress and behave accordingly. We strongly advise that you get travel/health insurance for your tour.
